This morning Benjamin and Mommy went to IHOP together.
While there Benjamin systematically threw each of his toys on the floor, then started to cry. So Mommy bent with Benjamin in one arm and attempted to pick up the toys, inadvertently bringing Benjamin within reach of her plate. Benjamin, with Mommy occupied, took this fantastic opportunity to grab an entire pancake off her plate and was in the process of bringing the pancake to his mouth when Mommy caught his sticky little syrup hands in the act!
Poor Benjamin was so disappointed when Mommy took away his newly acquired prize. Next time he will have to work a little faster!
