Today Benjamin got to (kind of) take part in the removal of the honey bees which have lived with us for quite some time in our home. Docile as these sweet little bees are it was time for them to move on to a more appropriate home with a local bee keeper. Check out Benny trying on the bee veil! The next photo shows a close up of the entrance to the hive...yes, Mommy climbed up the scaffolding wearing bee gear and got close to the entrance to see what was going on up there!
The other photos show Carl (notice the bee vacuum) and his wife Danielle removing the bees from our home, and finally...HONEY!
