Dohany Street Synagogue

Located in the 7th district of Budapest, the Dohany Street Synagogue is the largest synagogue in Europe and the second largest in the world. This synogogue formed part of the border of the Jewish ghetto during Wold War II and was extensively damaged during the war and has since been restored. The complex includes the synagogue, The Jewish Museum, The Heroes Temple, the graveyard, and the Holocaust memorial.

We ate dinner across the street from the synagogue and as a result were rewarded with beautiful photos as it is well lighted during the night.
