A visit with the midwife this morning confirmed that Mommy is dilated 1cm, 50% effaced, and baby Finnegan is at a 0 station, meaning his head is engaged within Mommy's pelvis. Yikes!
The midwife thinks Finnegan needs to stay in at least another three to four weeks and told Mommy that she needs to start spending most of her time resting. That means (so sad) that Mommy is no longer supposed to lift big brother Benjamin, take long walks, or spend time gardening. However this does mean more time to work on Finnegan's blog...
