Benjamin visits the Colliseum!

Today Benjamin visited the Roman Coliseum, or, as it was originally called, the Flavian Amphitheatre. Completed in 80 AD it is most famous for the gladiatorial games, during which it is estimated that 500,000 people and a million wild animals perished within it's walls. However the colliseum was also used, hence it's original name, as a theatre.

Benjamin enjoyed riding bunny around the outside while Mommy and Daddy were in awe of the size and intricacy of the stonework making up the colliseum.
