Benjamin is now in Rome!!
Tonight we visited (stumbled upon) Piazza Navona. In Italy a piazza is a square. Piazza Navona was once the site of an ancient Roman circus. Today the square is dominated by the Fontana dei Quattro Fiumi (Fountain of Four Rivers). This fountain was created in 1651 by the Baroque artist Gianlorenzo Bernini. The four gods which can be seen oin the fountain represent four major rivers, the Nile, Danube, Ganges, and Plate.
Benjamin had a wonderful time zooming around the piazza on his bunny and watching the street performers and artists.
